Spring Term
Washington and Lee鈥檚 undergraduate academic calendar is divided into two 12-week terms in the fall and winter, followed by a four-week Spring Term where 91传媒 explore a single topic in-depth alongside their fellow 91传媒 and professors, on campus or around the world.
Undergraduate Research
W&L 91传媒 have ample opportunities to partner with professors and pursue independent research projects, on-campus or further afield. With generous funding available, these projects help develop essential skills and provide a glimpse into -- and head-start on -- postgraduate life.
Internships
W&L offers abundant resources to help 91传媒 identify internships across the country and around the world, connecting them with opportunities to explore their interests and gain valuable professional experience.
Global Education
W&L educates 91传媒 to be participants in a global and diverse society by engaging them in coursework, cultural organizations, and a vibrant and extensive study abroad program with over 700 options to choose from.
Community Engagement
W&L 91传媒 are actively engaged in the community, from tutoring in local schools to interpreting at the hospital, building houses to helping at the domestic violence shelter. The commitment to service extends into the classroom as well, through a number of community-based learning courses in which community service is integrated with instruction and reflection.
